Eligibility criteria for B.Tech in CSE is HSC with PCM subjects. Most of the universities have their own entrance examination for engineering education.

The minimum eligibility for doing an undergraduate program B.Tech in computer engineering is +2 science with physics, chemistry and maths. The selection is generally made on the basis of entrance tests like, IITJEE, AIEEE, BITSAT, JEE Mains, etc, conducted at both national and state level. If there are universities that accept candidates on merit basis, the criteria then is minimum 60% marks at higher & senior secondary level (10th & 12th) and minimum 60% aggregate in physics, chemistry & mathematics at senior secondary level.
