Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria like age limit, educational qualification, percentage, etc. to apply for CUSAT CAT. Marine Engineering
- Secured 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the Class 12 or equivalent from Kerala Board or any other recognised Board.
- Studied in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English in the qualifying examination.
- Secured minimum 50% in the English subject either in Class 10 or in Class 12 (applicable to all the categories).
- Candidates have to submit physical fitness and eye fitness certificates as well. The certificate should be obtained from Medical Examiners and approved by DG Shipping.
Naval Architecture & Ship Building
- Scored 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the Class 12 examination or equivalent from Kerala Board or any other recognised Board.
- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics should be the compulsory subjects along with the other subjects in the qualifying examination.
- Obtain 50% in the Mathematics subject.
- Must have scored 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics when taken together.
Instrumentation & Technology
- Obtained 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics when taken together in the qualifying examination.
- Obtain 55% in the Mathematics subject.
Polymer Science & Engineering
Passed Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as an optional subject or any other equivalent examination with 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognised Board.
Secured 50% in the Mathematics subject.
