    Eligibility Criteria for Civil Services IAS & IPS Exam:
    I)Academic Eligibility
    *The candidate must hold a pass Bachelors degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University, under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.
    *Candidates who have appeared or intend to appear for the final examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for the Preliminary Examination.

    Hello there,
    The eligibility criteria for IAS & IFS are as follows:
    1. Minimum age 21 and maximum 31 years
    2. Should be graduated in any discipline from a recognised university with 50% score.
    3. The IAS selection procedure is a six stage procedure which includes applying for the exam, appearing in preliminary exam followed by Mains and interview, document verification and service allocation.
    4. For IFS who qualify the prelims by securing the required qualifying marks will be eligible to appear for the Mains exam followed by personality test/interview.

    IAS Exam Educational qualification:
    If you want to apply for the post of IAS IPS, IFS, IRS, etc., then you first have to complete following eligibility criteria:
    1. You should have graduation degree in any discipline from any recognized university i.e. B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., B.E. / B.Tech, MBBS, BBA, BS, etc.
    2. Final-year students also eligible for UPSC-(IAS) IPS, IFS, IRS, etc. exam; but till the UPSC final result, you should have final year passed mark sheet.
    3. If you are MBBS students and in final year internship programme they are also eligible for the exam.
