For admissions to the BTech programme at IIIT Delhi in 2023, there were two primary tracks to consider: admissions through the Joint Admission Counselling and admissions through the IIIT Delhi admission process.
Common eligibility criteria for both tracks:
- Passing Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks in five subjects. These subjects must include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Securing at least 70% marks in Mathematics specifically.
There were however, some nuances in the selection process:
- JAC Admissions considered scores from the JEE Main exam. Competitive scores were crucial for securing a seat.

Moreover, the aspirant should have passed the qualifying exam from a recognised board. During the form filling and at the time of admission, candidate must hold the pass certificate for verification purposes.
