M.A. at Joseph University in English has the following eligibility criteria:
1. Candidate must be a graduate with English as a major subject. It is mandatory to obtain 40% marks in total in all subjects and 50% marks in English.
2.If the candidate has taken English as a single major subject, he/she should have obtained 50% marks in English and 40% marks in overall.
3. Candidates who have not studied English as a core subject must have obtained 55% marks in General English. Apart from this, B.A., B.Sc. OR Graduation in B.Com is required.
