The eligibility criteria for M.Sc. Hons Physics is pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) (with Physics and Maths) or B.Tech. (Electronics and Communication Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering ) or equivalent. You can even take two specialisation electives as follows: CONDENSED MATTER PHYSICS # CONDENSED MATTER PHYSICS LABORATORY: Impart an understanding of condensed matter systems under a wide variety of conditions through experimental observations and focuses on interpretation and analysis of technical data. # CONDENSED MATTER PHYSICS-I: Provide insight of electrical, magnetic, optical and mechanical properties of solids and focuses on classical, semi classical and quantum theories to understand condensed matter. # CONDENSED MATTER PHYSICS-II: Provide knowledge about synthesis, characterization of Nano-materials and focuses on quasi crystals, carbon nanotubes and quantum size effect on the properties of various materials. ELECTRONICS # ELECTRONICS LABORATORY: Provide experimental exposure of basic building blocks of linear and digital integrated circuits and focuses on enhancing learning of 8086 microprocessor. # ELECTRONICS-I: Provide insight to the principles in construction of electronic circuits and flow of electricity and focuses on circuit systems used for computer and microprocessor devices. # ELECTRONICS-II: Impart understanding about electronics and communication and focuses on optoelectronics, microwave devices and radar system. Hi Nomanjee, One of my known is teaching their in LPU. He told me that LPU offers more than 250 Programmes. Thus, LPU is also offering M.Sc. (Hons) Physics. The eligibility to get admission is candidate must minimum 55% aggregate marks in (Bachelor's degree with Physics and Mathematics ) or (B.Tech (ECE/ME/EE/EEE). Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English Physics and Maths or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST.
