For the Mtech program candidates should satisfy the following criteria:-
1. Education Qualification: Candidates should have degree any Technical field (B.E./ B.Tech.) with a minimum of 50% marks for open categories/ 45% for reserved categories.
2. Entrance Exam: The admission is always conducted by the performance of the GATE which is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Some of these may be offered through admission by MHT–CET only to the eligible candidates.
3. Relevant Branch: Candidates must have a degree in a branch relevant to their M.Tech. major offered by the respective University.
