<p data-sourcepos="1:1-1:95">The eligibility criteria for an MA at Central University of Orissa (CUO) in 2023-24 is as follows:</p><ul data-sourcepos="3:1-3:18"><li data-sourcepos="3:1-3:18">A candidate must have passed the Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in the relevant subject from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved category candidates).</li><li data-sourcepos="4:1-4:96">A candidate who has passed the Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved category candidates) is also eligible to apply for MA in the following subjects:<ul data-sourcepos="5:5-7:4"><li data-sourcepos="5:5-5:15">Economics</li><li data-sourcepos="6:5-7:4">English</li><li data-sourcepos="7:5-7:13">History</li><li data-sourcepos="8:5-8:17">Mathematics</li><li data-sourcepos="9:5-9:16">Philosophy</li><li data-sourcepos="10:5-10:23">Political Science</li><li data-sourcepos="11:5-11:16">Psychology</li><li data-sourcepos="12:5-12:15">Sociology</li></ul></li><li data-sourcepos="13:1-14:0">A candidate who has passed the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved category candidates) is also eligible to apply for an MA in Economics.</li></ul><p data-sourcepos="15:1-15:162">In addition to the above eligibility criteria, candidates must also qualify in the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to the MA programme at CUO.</p>
