To apply to the Great Lakes Institute of Management, all candidates must take the GMAT, CAT, and XAT. Every candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university and a minimum of 60% in their undergraduate, and 10th/12th grade exams.

Candidates who are fresh out of college or who have worked for less than 36 months as of June 30, 2024, only, may apply. While they are also eligible to enroll for the two-year PGDM, candidates with 2-3 years of work experience by April 30, 2024, are advised to apply for the one-year flagship PGPM.
