All eligible candidates should have passed out with a bachelor's degree in any recognized institution with at least 50% marks above. For SC/ST candidates, at least 45% marks are enough to get admission into the MBA program offered by Shobhit Institute of Engineering and Technology (SIET) in Meerut.
Valid score in any of the entrance tests, like CAT, XAT, MAT or SUNET (Shobhit University National Entrance Test), of the university.
Candidates may also be subjected to a Group Discussion (GD) or a Personal Interview (PI) in some cases as part of the selection process.

CLAT is one of the exams accepted by the university, however, it is not the only one. The university also accepts students via its own entrance exam i.e., SUNET.
