The eligibility criteria for MBA-CET (Common Entrance Test) in Maharashtra are as follows:
- The candidate must be an Indian national.
- The candidate must have completed a Bachelor's degree in any stream with at least 50% (45% for reserved category) in aggregate from any UGC/AIU recognised university.
- The candidate must have completed three years of graduation in any stream.
- Final-year students studying in a UGC/AIU-recognized university can also apply.
- There is no age limit to apply for the exam.
- Non-Maharashtrian candidates can also apply for the exam.
- There is no limit on the number of attempts for the MAH CET exam.

Eligibility criteria for appearing in MAH MBA-CET is as follows:
(a) Candidate must have completed his/her graduation (of minimum period 3 years) from any college, institute or university, which is recognised by the UGC or Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
(b) Candidates belonging to the general category can take up the examination only if they have scored minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate.
(c) Backward class candidates and those with disability need to have secured at least 45 per cent marks in aggregate in their graduation.
