What is the eligibility criteria for MBBS at Medical College, Kolkata?

<p>The Eligibility criteria for MBBS at Medical college of Kolkata is pretty much similar to other goverment medical colleges. The MBBS course seats are allotted on the basis of NEET-UG score and rank. Therefore, the candidates will have to apply for the NEET-UG examination conducted by the NTA for the admissions for MBBS. After the NEET-UG results, the cutoff is released by the MCC or the Medical counselling committee based on various factors. Candidates who cleared the cutoff marks set by the college will be called for the admissions process. The cutoff differs each year. The candidates must have also secured a minimum of 50% in Physics, chemistry, biology and English in their class 10 and 12 examination. The cutoff scores depends on the individual candidates as they vary for each categories. Without qualifying for the NEET cutoff it is not possible t get admissions to any MBBS colleges in India. It is difficult to get admissions to top government medical college which are below 500 to 600.&nbsp;</p>
