Alagappa University offers a full-time two-year MSc programme in different disciplines. Admission to MSc (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Microbiology) programmes is done based on the entrance exam (50% weightage) and marks obtained in the qualifying examination (50% weightage) whereas admission to the MSc (Biotechnology) course is done based on the entrance test and interview marks. Admission to the remaining MSc programmes is done based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination only.
