    Class 12th passed or appearing and between 16.5 to 19.5 years old male candidates are eligible to enrol.

    Below is the eligibility criteria for NDA:
    For Army wing of National Defense Academy :- 12th Class pass out of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
    For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defense Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass out of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with physics and mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
    Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply.

    The minimum qualification required for Indian Army wing, Navy and Air Force is as follows:
    Eligibility for Indian Army:
    *The candidates want to apply for Indian Army must have completed 12th (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent exam from a well-recognized board.
    *The appearing candidates can also apply. Eligibility for Indian Navy and Air Force:
    *Those seeking for Indian Navy and Air Force must have passed their 12th/appearing (10+2 pattern) from a recognized board or university with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
