5 years agoAs per the NDA eligibility criteria 2019, candidates must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years of age. Candidates having appeared or appearing in class 12th (10+2) examination are eligible to appear for NDA 2019. Male candidates who are unmarried can apply for the exam. -

The minimum qualification required for Indian Army wing, Navy and Air Force is as follows:
Eligibility for Indian Army:
*The candidates want to apply for Indian Army must have completed 12th (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent exam from a well-recognised board. *The appearing candidates can also apply.
Eligibility for Indian Navy and Air Force:
*Those seeking for Indian Navy and Air Force must have passed their 12th/appearing (10+2 pattern) from a recognized board or university with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. -

Below is the eligibility criteria for NDA.
For Army wing of National Defense Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply.
