What is the eligibility criteria for NDA?

For NDA (1) 2020: The candidates possessing age between 2nd July 2001 to 1st July 2004 are eligible for the examination. If born before 2nd July 2001 and after 1st July 2004 then not eligible for NDA (1) 2020 exam. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for NDA examination.

As per the NDA eligibility criteria 2019, candidates must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years of age. Candidates having appeared or appearing in class 12th (10+2) examination are eligible to appear for NDA 2019. Male candidates who are unmarried can apply for the exam.

You should have appeared class 12 with PCM. And should be less than 19 years.

Hello Sandesh, The minimum qualification required for Indian Army wing, Navy and Air Force is as follows: Eligibility for Indian Army: *The candidates want to apply for Indian Army must have completed 12th (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent exam from a well-recognised board. *The appearing candidates can also apply. Eligibility for Indian Navy and Air Force: *Those seeking for Indian Navy and Air Force must have passed their 12th/appearing (10+2 pattern) from a recognized board or university with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Hi Sandesh, Below is the eligibility criteria for NDA. For Army wing of National Defense Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply. For admissions, one has to fill the application form. application form along with an Information Brochure containing general instructions for filling up the form, an acknowledgement card and an envelope for sending the application will be obtainable from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post Offices throughout the country on payment of a requisite amount. Blank application forms and other particulars are published by UPSC in leading newspapers and Employment News in the month of March and September. Hope this helps.
