What is the eligibility criteria for OTET?

Eligibility criteria for OTET: Students must be a citizen of India, and they must also be permanent residents or domiciles of Odisha. The min age limit to apply is of 21 years, and there is no upper age limit set for OTET Exam. Eligibility Criteria for Category-A (Paper 1) Students should clear Class 12 with at least 50 % (45 % for SC, ST, OBC, SEBC, or PwD students) aggregate marks. Also, students should possess a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT or DElEd). Students should clear Class 12 with at least 45 % (40 % for SC, ST, OBC, SEBC, or PwD students) aggregate marks. Also, students should possess a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE Regulations, 2002. Students should clear Class 12 with at least 50 % (45 % for SC, ST, OBC, SEBC, or PwD students) aggregate marks. Also, Students should possess a 4-year Diploma in BElEd. Students should clear Class XII with at least 50 % (45 % for SC, ST, OBC, SEBC, or PwD students) aggregate marks. Also, Students should possess a 2-year Diploma in Special Education. Students should clear graduation in any stream. Also, students should possess a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ Special Education. Eligibility Criteria for Category-B (Paper 2) Students should clear graduation with at least 50 % (45 % for SC, ST, OBC, SEBC, or PwD students) marks. Also, students should pass a one-year course in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Students should clear graduation with at least 45 % (40 % for SC, ST, OBC, SEBC, or PwD students) marks. Also, students should pass a 1-year B.Ed course in accordance with the NCTE Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
