    Hi Kanika,
    Product design is the process of creating a new product to be sold by a business to its customers. A very broad concept, it is essentially the efficient and effective generation and development of ideas through a process that leads to new products.
    The basic eligibility of admission in NID as stated below:
    Diploma –Class 10th pass from a recognized board with minimum 40% marks.
    Bachelor’s Degree: Class 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks.
    Post-graduation degree: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks.

    For undergraduate’s it is 12th pass and for post graduate, you need to have a graduate degree or diploma in design and +1 year of year experience.
    I would suggest you to cross check with www.admissions.nid.edu. Because they do change the eligibility criteria every year.

    NID Eligibility Criteria 2019
    Criteria 1: Age Limit: The candidates must not be more than 20 years of age while applying.
    Criteria 2: Educational Qualification: Applicants who have passed or will be appearing for higher secondary (10+2) qualifying examinations from any recognised board of education ineligible.
