The first criteria is 2 years of work experience, then you can opt for executive MBA. If you have work experience, then you need to appear for CAT and XAT for IIMs and XLRI respectively. You need to score a good percentile for receiving calls from them. You need to clear WAT/ PI process as well.

What leverage is given to work experience in IIMs? Also, is there any difference in the cut-off score for e-MBA and normal MBA?

For IIM's, it is mandatory to crack CAT exam to pursue executive MBA. Whereas, for XLRI you have to crack XAT exam. If you have minimum 2 years of work experience, then you are eligible for executive MBA.
