Eligibility Criteria for SMAT 2023
Candidate must be a Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50 per cent aggregate or equivalent from a recognised university. Candidates from any educational background and who have a keen interest in sports may apply. This entrance exam is conducted in online mode, i.e. , computer based. The SMAT exam is conducted for admission to UG and PG courses at IISM. The eligibility criteria are as follows for SMAT:
1. For the Bachelor of Sports Management course, you must have completed the HSC or equivalent 12th grade exam with a score of 50%.
2. For the Masters of Sports Management, PGPSM, and PGPSEM courses, you must have completed your Bachelor's degree with a score of 50%.
3. Applicants from the reserved category receive a 5% SMAT score relaxation and can apply with a score of 45% in their degree or HSC. -

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised university, board, institute, or council is required.
