Hi, Yes you can go ahead. The eligibility criteria for PhD varies for every institute. However the basic requirement is a Masters degree or an equivalent degree in the relevant discipline. However the cut off percentages vary. Some of the institutes conduct entrance exams and some of them require atleast two Research Publications for the PhD programs. Some also require work experience of a couple of years. This is evaluated through an extensive interview by a panel of experts. A description of one or two proposed areas of specialization (1-2 pages per area) is to be attached along with the application form.
