United States- You will have to clear the USMLE exams ( especially step 1, step 2ck and cs) in order to qualify participating in the match programme which is done every year to match candidates into residency positions across the country. Residency positions (which is a term used synonymously with post graduation) in the US are very competitive and IMGs (i.e. international medical graduates) are usually picked for only a few specialities such as internal medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry and family medicine, which are considered less conpetitive.
