The eligibility criteria for the Bachelor of Design (BDes) course at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Gandhinagar require candidates to have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board in any stream. Applicants should be 24 years old or younger as of August 1 of the admission year, with a five-year relaxation for candidates from reserved categories. Candidates must appear for CAT and GAT exams for admission to BDes course. In addition to this, check the eligibility criteria below:
- Passed Class 12 from a recognised board, or
- A pass in Class 12 exams conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects, or
- Passed 3 or 4-year Diploma recognised by the AICTE or the State Board of Technical Education
