The Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (MGNF) is conducted by the nine Iims. The eligibility criteria to apply for this fellowship programme are as follows:
1. One must be Indian citizen to apply for the MGNF
2. The applicant's age at the time of application must be between 21 and 30 years old.
3. Applicant must be a graduate in subjects like law, social Science, medicine, etc.
4. Expertise in the state language for which they will work, like Hindi for North Indian states.
5. Three year experience is preferred but experience is not mandatory to apply for the MGNF. -
Below is the eligibility criteria for enrolling :
The candidate must be atleast a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university or a post graduate from a recognised university. Should be a citizen of India
Age - 21-30 years
Three years of work experience after secondary schooling in the social/non-profit sector with an interest in working in rural areas is preferred. However, individuals with no work experience and a strong motivation to work in this area may apply. Proficiency in the official language used in the state government that they will work with.
