In order to be eligible for admission to the GIMSR MS programme, students are required to fulfill eligibility requirements as per the NEET PG (MD/MS) Information Bulletin. As per official sources, students with an MBBS degree from an institute recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) are eligible for the programme.

Such candidates must possess an MBBS degree or a Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate at the time of admissions. Apart from this, students must have completed a compulsory rotatory internship of one year.
