Basic eligibility for M.Sc in maths is:
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Mathematics)
Candidate must be preferably an honours graduate under (10+2+3) pattern in mathematics from this university or any other recognized university.Candidate must be considered other graduate under (10+2+3) pattern if they have studied at least 300 marks in mathematics at under graduate level from this university or any other recognized university with at least 55% marks in mathematics.Marks relaxation for reserved category candidates will be given as per the rules of Government of West Bengal. -
The eligibility criteria for most of the colleges is graduation in any discipline with Maths and English as a subject and a minimum of 50% overall. Some colleges give preference to B.Sc/B.E or B.Tech students.
