The Air Force common admission test AFCAT is a defence exam conducted by the Indian Air force for the selection of Class-1 Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duties (Technical and Non-Technical). The AFCAT exam is held twice a year, in February and August/September. Its applications are available in June and December. Candidates can apply for all three branches of the IAF through AFCAT which are the Flying Branch, the Technical Branch, and the Ground Duty Branch.
