What is the eligibility criteria to apply for distance B.Ed.?

Asked about IGNOU - Indira Gandhi National Open University - Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

I have done B.Sc in physics (Hons) with 48% marks but have scored 51% marks in Hons. and completed 1-year (D.El.Ed) course via face to face mode/full-time regular mode.

    The eligibility criteria of IGNOU B.Ed is elaborated below:
    The applicants must have at least 50% marks in Bachelor's or Master's degree in Arts, Science, Commerce and Engineering streams in order to apply for distance B.Ed course.
    Candidates who wish to take up distance B.Ed must be trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
    Candidates who have completed teacher education programme recognised by NCTE in a face-to-face mode are also eligible to apply.

    My aggregate percentage is 50. In my major subject the percentage is 45. Will i be eligible for got admission into BEd in ignu.

    Hi,
    The eligibility criteria of IGNOU B.Ed is elaborated below:
    The applicants must have at least 50% marks in Bachelor's or Master's degree in Arts, Science, Commerce and Engineering streams in order to apply for distance B.Ed course.
    Candidates who wish to take up distance B.Ed must be trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
    Candidates who have completed teacher education programme recognised by NCTE in a face-to-face mode are also eligible to apply.
    Candidates who have at least two years of teaching experience in primary or upper primary schools can also take up distance B.Ed course.

    Hi Prasant,
    Criteria for B. Ed is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanities or Commerce or equivalent
    Or,
    Pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech. or B.E. with specialization in Science and Mathematics or equivalent (Candidate must have studied the subject of the subject combination for at least three years at Bachelors Level or Masters Level)
    5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories as applicable.
    Some institutes conduct entrance exam whereas in a few institutes you can even directly apply for admission. A few good universities for B. Ed are: Delhi Universit
