What is the eligibility criteria to become a Commercial Pilot?

Hi,
In order to become a commercial pilot you must have completed your Class XIIth under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in Maths and Physics.
Training in commercial flying can be taken with Flying clubs, the Rashtriya Udan Academy, Private Flying academies.
The training goes through 3 stages of licence, the licences have to be procured in the following order:
1. Student Pilot Licence.
2. Private Pilot Licence.
3. Commercial Pilot Licence
After Class XI/XII (with PCM) students can apply for the SPL.
On passing Class XII (PCM) they may enroll for the next licence -PPL.
On getting the PPL training begins for CPL.
