    To become a Pilot :
    -You need to first possess a Student Pilot License. You must be over 17 years of age and have completed 12th in Science (Physics and Mathematics) with 50%.
    -Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
    General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
    -You need to register at a flying club which is recognized by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India.

    Hi,
    As per your query you may consider pursuing CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence). In order to be commercial pilot you must have completed your Class XII under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and Physics.
    Training in commercial flying can be taken with Flying clubs, the Rashtriya Udan Academy, Private Flying academies.
    The training goes through 3 stages of licence.
    The licences have to be procured in the following order:
    - Student Pilot Licence (SPL)
    - Private Pilot Licence (PPL)
    - Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
    - After Class XI/XII (with PCM) students can apply for the SPL.

    As you are an intermediate in Science disciplines, you can apply for the pilot training program. The eligibility criterion to undergo the training program is a pass in +2 examinations. Aspirants should have done the course in Science streams. They should have learned Maths and Physics compulsorily in their +2 course. In addition, applicants should have clear 20/20 vision and also satisfy the physical standards of fitness.
