Hi,
The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) of India conducts the exam and on the basis of the result IAS, IPS, IFS officers are selected.
The Civil Services Examinations are held in two phases - the first is called the CSAT which replaces the Preliminary Examination (Prelims).

Right now it depends on your age.If you are sufficiently young, you can plan for your ambition.Think of your bodily growth also right now.Then, study well consistently for a few years, always thinking of your interview skills and other soft skills.

For becomming an IPS office you need to clear UPSC exams (till the interview level) in good merit. UPSC exams are held every year. Initially there is prelims and if you succeed in that then you need to appear in Mains and then the Interview, which too is very important. This year the prelims might b
