    B.Sc fashion design is an undergraduate fashion designing course that covers the study of creating original designs in garments, footwear, luggage, jewellery, etc.
    The course duration is 3-years.
    the eligibility is :
    1) should have passed 10+2 or equivalent and with a minimum of 50% (in some reputed institutions)
    2) some reputed colleges conduct entrance exams also.

    Admission in any programme depends on the Eligibility criteria to be qualified for the same programme. There are two Programmes Available in Fashion Design - 1) B.Sc. (Design - Fashion) which is 3 years programme and has 6 Semesters 2) B. Design (Fashion) which is 4 years programme and has 8 Semesters. So, for Fashion Design programmes the Eligibility is to get Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent is required to be Eligible to join this programme.     At LPU, the eligibility criteria is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. Some exceptions for few categories are:
    # 5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants
