6 years agoLPU conduct its own exam to entrance in college, and it gives scholarship, according to marks in exam and placements are good in LPU. -
The eligibility criteria for B.Tech: Pass with aggregate of 60% plus with Physics, Maths and English and appear in LPUNEST/JEE Mains. The counseling is done online for seat allocation. The last date to apply for special schedule has already lapsed yesterday 20th April. Now the applications will be invited for regular counselling schedule until first week of May (exact date to be declared on university website). Following programs are available:

Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) for B.Tech:
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST^. ^LPUNEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants)
