Hello Shinoy,
To get admission into undergraduate engineering programs at NITs you need to have a minimum of 75% in board exams (general category), 65% (reserved categories like SC, ST, etc.) or be in the top 20 percentile that is the top 20% students from your board.

Yes, but you need to appear for JEE Mains again in 2018 and clear it with a good score.
If you get above 250 then it's really good.
