The eligibility for the programme is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. After Diploma you will have to take LPU NEST and qualify it only then you will be eligible for the programme. I don't think that there institutes offering lateral entry in mechatronics. If there are institutes that offer the same then you need to clear the lateral entry exam to get admission in a reputed university.
