The the eligibility criteria to get into NIT Bhopal and NIT Jaipur through JEE Mains for B.Tech in mechanical engineering is listed below:
1. Age Limit Criteria:
There is no upper age limit for JEE Main.
2. Number of Attempts:
A) JEE Main aspirants can appear in three consecutive years.
B) JEE Main will be conducted twice a year and candidates can appear for both the sessions.
C) Both attempts of JEE Main exam in an academic year will be counted as one attempt in that year.
3. Total marks in final exam (10th + 2/12th): General category: 75% of total marks, SC/ST/PWD category: 65% of total marks.

d) General Category: 75% marks in aggregate

To be eligible for get admission for B.Tech course in Mechanical Engineering at NIT Bhopal (MANIT Bhopal) or NIT Jaipur (MNIT Jaipur) through JEE Mains, you'll have to fulfill the following criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- The candidate should have passed Class 12th exam from a recognised board.
- A minimum of 75% marks in aggregate is required for General/OBC/EWS category, students in Class 12th exams.
- A minimum of 65% marks in aggregate is required for ST/SC students in Class 12th exams
Entrance Exam:
- JEE Mains: The candidate must qualify in the JEE Mains exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
