What is the eligibility criteria to give CAT?
I have completed my all 8 sems in engineering in 2014 but i have 1 backlog in 8th sem which I will be clearing in January 2015.

Hi Soban,
In order to take CAT test the candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA)
So you may surely take CAT test after clearing your backlog.For your reference find below some of the finest institutes in India accepting CAT scores for admission.
