What is the eligibility criteria to open a medical shop? Which course should I pursue?

Is it true that only a D.Pharm graduate can get the license to open a medical shop? I want to open a medical shop in Maharashtra.

    Hi Shraddha,
    The first requirement to open a chemist shop/pharmacy is to be a Pharmacist and registering with Pharmacy Council of India. However, it is advisable for you to visit the website of Pharmacy Council Of India (http://pci.nic.in/) for all the requirements, as these requirements might change time to time.
