    Aircraft maintenance engineers (AME) work in the engineering and maintenance department of an airline to ensure the availability of a safe and airworthy aircraft for an airline.
    * A course in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is not a degree but a license course and only those institutes approved by the DGCA can impart training in this subject.
    This training course is rigorous and only a few institutes offer training on heavy aircraft and jet engines. Total training cost will be around 1.5 lakh.
