The eligibility criteria to pursue a B.A. in Mass Communication are basically a 10+2 passout from any stream with a minimum of 55-60 per cent marks or equivalent, and most colleges/universities conduct their entrance test – a written examination, an interview or both.

Candidate must have completed their 10+2 education from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks in 12th. The written exam is conducted for eligible students.

Typically, for B.A. (Hons) Journalism, Media and Communication or B.A. (Hons) Mass Communication, most universities, requires you to have a minimum of 50% in 12th grade or equivalent from a recognised university/board. You may also choose to appear for entrance exam like IPU CET for IP University admission. Similarly other universities have their own entrance/aptitude test that you would need to clear which is usually followed by a personal interview.
