What is the eligibility criteria to pursue B.Sc agriculture?

Criteria is to pass with 55%-60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years. Diploma in Agriculture after class 10th or equivalent, subject to valid score in entrance test. I am enlisting a few good college for B.Sc. Hello! Eligibility for admission is usually 60% in Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English for most of the universities with their respective entrance exam. B.Sc. Agriculture is one of the most booming course these days. This programme equips students with all-round knowledge of sector and normally includes the following: Agronomy: Basics of Agronomy, Kharif and Rabi Crop, Crop Protection, Weed Management, Irrigation Techniques, Water Resource Management, Organic Farming, Sustainable Agriculture. LPU has Hons programme in same as B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, which is a 4 year course in total. LPU is the first private university, to get the ICAR accreditation done for agriculture courses, not only this LPU has allocated a specific land for the practical learning and growth of agriculture student. Eligibility for the same is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. LPU NEST is not compulsory. It will act as a scholarship test only. Fee per semester is 98000 INR (without scholarship). LPU also provides different scholarships on the same. Hi Jaineel,Eligibility Criteria is: -Pass with ( 50-60%) aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, PCM/PCB ) Optionally, you need to qualify entrance level examination conducted by university as per their eligibility criteria. Career Prospects: -There are decent salary packages offered to Agriculture Graduates and there are both Government and Private sector jobs available. -The graduates can engage in research, pursue higher studies, work in agricultural industries, or pursue a career in Banking, Biotechnology, Rural Business Management, etc. -You can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, Food Quality Inspectors, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations. -Entrepreneurship ventures such as poly house, green house, mixed farming and agriculture-based small industries can be opened.
