Hello! Eligibility for admission is usually 60% in Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English for most of the universities with their respective entrance exam. B.Sc. Agriculture is one of the most booming course these days. This programme equips students with all-round knowledge of sector and normally includes the following: Agronomy: Basics of Agronomy, Kharif and Rabi Crop, Crop Protection, Weed Management, Irrigation Techniques, Water Resource Management, Organic Farming, Sustainable Agriculture. LPU has Hons programme in same as B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, which is a 4 year course in total. LPU is the first private university, to get the ICAR accreditation done for agriculture courses, not only this LPU has allocated a specific land for the practical learning and growth of agriculture student. Eligibility for the same is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. LPU NEST is not compulsory. It will act as a scholarship test only. Fee per semester is 98000 INR (without scholarship). LPU also provides different scholarships on the same. Criteria is to pass with 55%-60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years.
