Candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in 12th grade (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology) must be studied. LPU NEST which was earlier an entrance exam is not mandatory this year due to pandemic of COVID-19. University states, " During this period of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, to support prospective students (candidates) to apply for admissions , direct online/remote admissions (subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria) process has been started."

One of my friends who is pursuing her degree in LPU told that LPU is a renowned private university with more than 30,000 students and experienced faculty from various institutes. There are more than 200 courses which are offered by the university.
The eligibility will be:
60% with English, Physics ,Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Biotechnology
She told me that LPU is giving relaxation as well:
1.) 5% to North East states and Sikkim candidates / Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.
2.) 10% to outstanding Sports Persons (i.e. A/A+ category), Subject to verification from Selection committee*.

In LPU, the eligibility of this course is that candidate should pass 10+2 with at least 60 percent along with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology or equivalent.

4 years agoCandidate must have 60% aggregate marks in 12th grade (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology) must be studied. LPU NEST which was earlier an entrance exam is not mandatory this year due to pandemic of COVID-19. Thus, Online Admission is already started and one can proceed to take online admissions through their website www.lpu.in. if any candidate assumes that he/she will definitely get minimum 60% aggregate marks in 12th grade. They must call their Academic executives on their toll free numbers. -
B Sc Forensic Science is a three years course having six semesters. To get admission in this course you have to score 60% aggregate marks in +2 science with English or English as medium of qualifying exam. if you are eligible then you can apply for admission both by online (www.lpu.in) or offline (nearest head office) mode. Rest you can call on LPU toll free helpline number for more information.

LPU gives relaxation on following basis:
1.) 5% to North East states and Sikkim candidates / Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.
2.) 10% to outstanding Sports Persons (i.e. A/A+ category), Subject to verification from Selection committee*.
Note:- In case of both, only one relaxation is to be given.
In addition to this , there is no entrance exam but still you can write LPUNEST for scholarship.
In order to fetch maximum benefit of scholarship, you are advised to take admission before 31-5-2020.
