Students must have PCM in their 12th in order to pursue B.Tech at BAU. The students also have to appear for the jceceb exam and as per the marks obtained they will be allotted colleges.

BAU provides B.Tech Agriculture only. For getting admission in B.Tech there is following criteria that you have to follow : First you have qualify your 10+2 with subjects physics, chemistry and maths wih a minimum marks of 50%. After that you have to appear in JCECEB exam after result and councelling you will get a seat according to your merit and rank.

The eligibility criteria to pursue B.Tech at BAU Birsa Agricultural University are as follows:The B.Tech course is offered in one specialization: Agricultural Engineering. The duration of the course is four years and the intake capacity is 40 seats.The candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and with at least 50% marks in aggregate.The candidates should have appeared for JCECE conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) and obtained a valid rank.
