    Eligibility for B.Tech. Food Technology is + 2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or equivalent with minimum 55% marks in many colleges/universities. At some institutes such as Amity Institute of Food Technology eligibility is +2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths / Biology. B.Tech in food technology has wide applications in the field of agriculture. Potentials exist in biotechnology and agricultural based industries.     Lovely Professional University, Phagwara offered the course B.Tech in Food Technology.  A four-year Food Technology degree programme produces competent food professional graduates imbibing leadership qualities and ethical responsibilities.

    Eligibility to take admission in this course at LPU is

    Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2  (with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying  LPUNEST or CUET or JEE Main (From Phase II Onwards).
