In majority of engineering colleges, the eligibility criteria for lateral entry admission in B.Tech is (a) 3 years Diploma in engineering granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government or (b) passed B.Sc degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks (c) and passed

HI Sujith,
For lateral entry B.Tech admission, you should complete Polytechnic Diploma or B.Sc in PCM with 45%. You can get direct admission in the second year of engineering.
