What is the eligibility criteria to pursue BCA? What are its career prospects?

The general eligibility criteria to be eligible for applying for BCA course is 10+2 from a recognised board of education or equivalent, with minimum 50% marks in total and also having Mathematics as subject in the qualifying examination. Some colleges such as IGNOU, Symbiosis university etc allow non Maths students to seek admission in BCA. You are advised to appear for BCA admission tests of various universities if you meet eligibility criteria to seek admission in BCA. BCA grads only get entry level junior jobs in IT industry. In order to have a meaningful career in IT minimum education qualifications of MCA is required.
