What is the eligibility criteria to pursue BE in CSE at thapar university

Hello Aspirant, Thapar is now taking admissions on the basis of your 10 +2 Board examinations as due to this Covid 19 pandemic, JEE and other exams have been postpned. But the student must have appeared in the JEE Mains exam. The basic criteria of admissions are on the basis of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject Hurry up if you haven't applied till now. The last date to apply is 31st July 2020. Hi, Following are the eligibility criteria for admissions at Thapar institute of Engineering & Technology. 1. Has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject or Minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) marks in a Diploma recognised by AICTE or a state board of technical education of at least 3-year duration. Has secured at least 72 aggregate marks (54 marks for SC/ST candidates) in JEE (Main)-2018. This clause shall not be applicable for the PGN, GoI, JKM, JK students & N-E students as mentioned at clause 1.3). Or 2. Has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 80% marks (75% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject. Has secured at least 54 aggregate marks (36 marks for SC/ST candidates) in JEE (Main)-2018. This clause shall not be applicable for the PGN, GoI, JKM, JK students & N-E students as mentioned at clause 1.3). 3. Possesses a good moral character. 4. Is a citizen of India. 5. Is born on or after October 1, 1993 (5-years relaxation in age for SC/ST/PH candidates). The admission shall be made on the basis of merit of score in JEE (Main)-2018.
