What is the eligibility criteria to pursue engineering?
I wish to pursue B.Tech in mechanical engineering.

Dear sahil first tell me in which state u like to take admission because there are different criteria in different state like in karnataka 45%in pcm is the criteria for engg. admission through vtu university . so it differe university to university

Usually admissions to most of the engineering colleges are through entrance examinations. The eligibility for the same is mentioned below
For admission in a bachelor's degree, the candidate must have passed the higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with science subject

Sahil for admission to B.Tech mech.either you need to have a good JEE score so that you can get admission in some good IIT, NIT, IIIT etc. Otherwise good marks in 12th for direct admission or need to clear the tests conducted by different universities like LPU, BIT, MIT etc.
