    Hi shreya, There are many institutes who offer Chemistry in post graduation but I will advice you to go for Honours because of the additional/innovative subjects and the tag value of honours. LPU offers M.Sc. (Hons. ). Chemistry with eligibility as 55% (Bachelor's degree with chemistry). The course is designed for the research aspirants and provoking " doing by yourself" approach. The learner has to do a unique three term dissertation along with the core curricula.     The eligibility criteria is minimum 60% in your Bachelors in Chemistry. Rest depends on the eligibility criteria of the university or institute.

    Eligibility criteria for taking admission in M.Sc in chemistry in most of the top universities is pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor's degree (any discipline) (with Chemistry) and you might have to qualify some entrance test of the university. (It may vary with the university you choose)
    It will be advisable if you do your degree from a well known university that provides prime placement opportunity, outstanding industrial exposure and professional enhancement training. I am enlisting some of the top universities for your help:

    The criteria is: Bachelor's degree with Chemistry as a subject for three years/six semesters and Mathematics at (10+2) level.

    Hello Shreya,
    If you have 55% aggregate in graduation degree with chemistry, you can apply for IIT-JAM exam.
    IIT-JAM is an entrance test for M.Sc which is conducted by IITs and IISc. It is a great opportunity for you if you want to pursue M.Sc.
    IITs offer joint M.Sc-Ph.D, M.Sc-Ph.D dual degree, M.Sc-M.Tech, M.Sc-M.S (Research)/Ph.D dual degree and other Post-Bachelor's degree courses.

    Minimum 60% in your Bachelor's degree is required to pursue M.Sc Chemistry.

    Hi Shreya, You can apply in lovely professional university with having 55 percentage aggregate marks in your Bachelor's degree of chemistry. If you are applying at LPU than I would suggest that by giving a LPU NEST exam you can avail a good amount of scholarship also. Good Luck!
