    Hi Sanket, I would say the eligibility criteria for choosing a university is its ranking, infrastructure, faculty, ranking, student teacher ratio etc. The NIRF ranking of LPU in engineering is 66 and the Times of India ranks LPU at no 36 in the list of engineering institutes. Ahead of many NITs and IITs. As per the world ranking 2022 LPU has been ranked 10th amongst top universities of India in engineering subject. The CSE course of LPU was ranked 9th in computer Science, amongst top universities of India.     M.Tech is a postgraduate degree of two years. It is one of the most demanding courses among the Software Engineering domain. This course covers all the aspects of technicality related to programming and software development. There is option for specialisation like Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Database Management Techniques etc. Advantage is that getting M.Tech you can get a research or teaching or SRF jobs with a good package.     To pursue M.Tech, you need to score a minimum of 60% marks in your 10th, 12th and in your graduation. For M.Tech other than GATE exam many colleges and states conduct their own entrance exams for admission in M.Tech courses. Few are UPESMEET Entrance Exam Test (For UPES), Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test , JIIT PGCET, CCMT (conducted by NIT kurukshetra), BITS Pilani Admissions, MUOET PG etc. You can see detailed information on official websites of these institutes.
