Manufacturing Engineering is a multi-disciplinary activity comprising mechanical, metallurgical, process analysis, machine tools and production equipment and processes. In India very few engineering colleges offer graduation degree in Manufacturing Engineering. Any student with PCM at 10+2 stage is eligible for seeking admission in B.Tech Manufacturing Engineering. HITS, Chennai offers B.Tech Manufacturing Engineering course.
B.Tech Mechanical, Production and Industrial engineering has overlap of up to 80-90% with syllabus of Manufacturing engineering. I will recommend B.Tech Mechanical Engineering over B.Tech Manufacturing Engineering
